2019/2020 Athletics Registrations Now Open

Kooringal-Wagga Athletics Club runs both a 3-4-year-old Tiny Tots program as well a Little Athletic program for children aged between 5-16 years each Friday Night from 5 pm at Jubilee Park.  The 2019/2020 season will on the 11th October 2019 runs through to until March 2020, breaking for the Christmas School Holiday.

As an optional extra our athletes are also encouraged to participate in local carnivals around our region and throughout NSW as well as the Zone Championships, Regional Championships and State Championships.  Our fees also include Coaching Monday – Wednesday throughout the year.  Please refer to the Coaching Timetable under the Coaching Tab.


If your child has never participated in Little A’s before they are welcomed to Come & Try for two (2) consecutive nights before committing to Registration.    Simply, bring your child along to Jubilee Park at least 10-15 minutes prior, sign the “Come & Try” register before the commencement of the night.  Please ensure your child has sports shoes and some comfy clothes to compete in.


Kooringal-Wagga’s Athletics Club Registration fees for the 2019/20 season are as follows:

Early Bird Fees from 01/08/2019-18/10/2019 inclusive

Tiny Tots – $100 per Child

Under 6’s to Under 17’s – inclusive = $130.00 per child.  A discount of $10 per child for third and subsequent sibling apply if you use the family payment option when registering.

Fees will increase by $10.00 per child from the 19/10/2019 once the Early Bird Discount ends.

If you are new to Little A’s and have not previously been registered with a Club, you are encouraged to attend two Come & Try after which time you must register in order to continue to attend further Club Nights. Register on or by the 18/10/2019 for the Early Bird Discount Special.

Please note that Point Scores records for each child will commence on the 18th October 2019 and will only be recorded for registered athletes only.  Refer to the Handbook 


The NSW Government is helping kids get active with the Active Kids program.

The Active Kids program provides two $100 vouchers for parents, guardians and carers of school-enrolled children to use towards sport and active recreation costs each year.

From 1 July 2019, parents, guardians and carers can apply for the second $100 Active Kids voucher.

Voucher 1 is valid January to December and Voucher 2 is valid July to December.

Our Club uniform is worn each Friday Club Night as well as any optional competition that your child wishes to attend.

Uniforms will available for purchase on Fridays.


Once your child has been registered, a registration pack containing a Registration Number, Age Patch and Coles Patch will be issued and can be collected on Friday 11th & 18th October 2019.

Please ensure you bring along your completed Working With Children Declaration Form and the Family Information Form.

With relation to the Working With Children Declaration form unless you have ticked a blue box on the first page of the Working With Children Check form you do not need to provide a WWCC number but you are still required to answer the questions on the second page of the form and sign the declaration and hand it in to the Registrar.  IF YOU HAVE TICKED A BLUE BOX, THEN YOU ARE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE US WITH A CHILDREN CHECK NUMBER.

It is a requirement for our club to hold a Working With Children Declaration on file for each person over 18 years old.
