About our Club: Welcome to Kooringal-Wagga Athletics Club and we trust you will enjoy this year’s athletic season!  Little Athletics is an Australia-wide sport for children aged 4 to 16. Kooringal-Wagga Athletics Club promotes athletics as a participation sport for children with the help of their parents. Children are encouraged to compete against one another in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere regardless of ability. The idea is for children to improve individual performance throughout the season as well as the physical fitness and technique. During the season (Terms 4 and 1) the Club conducts events for children at Jubilee Park (Corner Bourke Street and Red Hill Road, Wagga Wagga) on Fridays at 5.00pm. Competition continues throughout the season on a weekly basis. One of the highlights of the season is our annual Athletics Carnival. This year we will be staging the Kooringal-Wagga Athletics Carnival 6th November. We encourage athletes in all age groups to participate. Kooringal-Wagga Athletics Club also incorporates Amateur Athletics (Under 18 to Opens) in association with Athletics NSW. Please email enquiry@kwa.org.au for more information on amateur events.
